Achievement 2011

 1. On 18/01/2011 in pursuance of a secret information, Officers and men of DRBT Section,CID, West Bengal held a raid at 8B Bus Stand area under Jadavpur PS, District- South 24 Parganas and arrested  a gang of veteran criminals habitually dealing in FICN. The following  accused persons were arrested and  Rs.6000/-( Rupees Six thousand only) FICN of denomination of  Rs.500/- (12 Pcs ) was recovered from their possession. This refers to Jadavpur PS Case No. 29 dated 18/01/2011 u/s 489A/489B/489C IPC r/w 14 Foreigner’s Act.

2. On 01/01/2011, in pursuance of secret information, Inspector Shri Arun Kumar Das of SCU ,CID, SI Anil Aich, SI Jamaluddin , SI Nabakumar Ghosh and WC-163 Jatadhari Ghosh all of Nadia DD,CID  held raid at “ Swachhyondo Lodge” located beside NH-34 at Santipur area and recovered two stolen motor cycles , one TVS Victa , vide bearing registration number WB-24F8625 and one Bajaj Pulsar bearing registration number WB07-3071 from the possession of accused Sumon Paul ( 23 years) s/o Nanigopal Paul of  c/o Dilip Debnath of Baigachhipara, PS-Santipur, District Nadia. This refers to Santipur PS Case No. 01 dated 01/01/2011 u/s 379/411 IPC.

3. On 14/01/2011 at morning , in pursuance of a secret information, SI Pallab Ganguly, SI Anupam Chakraborty alongwith WC -36 Goutam Bhattacharya and other men of SOG,CID held a raid near Vivekananda Statue at Berhampore Station Road and  arrested one accused Jakir Hossain (26 years) s/o Abdul Motleb Sk of Paikpara , PS Lalgola, District Murshidabad and recovered 4 Kgs of  coagulated juice of opium poppy valued approximate Rs. 4,00,000/-  from possession of the said accused persons.

4. One Ayan Basistha (27) s/o Arup Basistha of Jolina Apartment, 74 Rastraguru Avenue, PS-Dum Dum, District – North 24 Parganas was constantly sending slang and humiliated SMS from his mobile number 9433263071 and from some other numbers. This refers to Dum Dum PS Case No. 492 dated 11/12/2010 u/s 506 IPC & 66A/66C/67A IT Act.  It was also surfaced that the person hacked the e-mail of the daughter of the complainant of the case and made illegal trespass in the Orkut Profile of her. Inspector Shri Swapan Halder, O/C DRBT Section,CID alongwith SI Krishnendu Ghosh , SI Atish Chatterjee of DRBT Section , SI Ayan Dutta , O/C Cyber Crime Cell and men held a raid on 06/01/2011 and arrested the said accused Ayan Basistha.

5. Chakdah PS Case No. 472/08 dated 23/10/2008 u/s 302/34 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act  relates to a murder case of one Paritosh Biswas s/o Haripada Biswas of Dakshin Chandamari, PS- Kalyani, Nadia . The incident took place on 23/10/2008 in between 18:30 hrs and 19:00 hrs at Alaipur Bazar under Chakdah PS. The deceased Paritosh Biswas alongwith five others had been to the above place for collecting subscription for Local Kalipuja. The assailants had this information and were camping nearby. They opened fire at Paritosh Biswas who started running along the road after the first shot. The criminals chased him and finally coughthold of him and rapidly fired upon his person and killed him. Investigation was initially done by local Police Station but it remained clueless, even after one year of the incidence. The case was assumed control by CID, West Bengal and during investigation IO of CID SI Atish Chatterjee made a breakthrough and the names and identity of the perpetrators were unearthed. One of the accused persons namely Ziarul Mondal of Rasullapur, PS-Chakdah was arrested during investigation  and another accused person namely Prasanta Biswas of Saguna, Lichutala PS –Kalyani , Nadia was arrested on the strength of W/A after commencement of the trial. Based on the evidences , Ld. ADJ, FTC (1), Kalyani held accused Prasanta Biswas guilty u/s 302 IPC and he was sentenced to Life Imprisonment  and fine of Rs. 25000/-  on 29/01/2011.

6., Bishnupur PS Case No. 27 dated 13/01/2011 u/s 379 IPC relates to a dacoity in respect of motor parts, machineries etc from Jupiter Rubber Pvt. Limited located at Bibirhat Road, Raspunja, PS-Bishnupur on the night of 13/01/2011 at about 02:00 hrs. The case was initially started as a theft case. The case was assumed control by CID,West Bengal.During investigation, the case was detected and one Rejaul Sk @ Murshid (35 ) s/o Lt Ekramul Sk of Asanpara, PO and PS- Bhagabangola, District- Murshidabad    was shown  arrested on       14/02/20111      and he was also identified in TI Parade.

7. On 14/15-02-2011 night complainant Rinku Das was returning from Kolkata from her place of employment. When she got down at Barasat Railway Station and proceeding towards her house alongwith his brother Rajib Das , student of Class –X. They were stopped by three miscreants at Barasat Kachhari More. The miscreants tried to outrage the modesty of Rinku and at this oint Rajiv protested and tried to save the modesty of his sister. They stabbed Rajib Das at the spot. He received severe injuries. He was shifted to Barasat Hospital and from there he was shifted to R G Kar Medical College & Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries. This refers to Barasat PS Case No.  291  dated 15/02/2011 u/s 302/34 IPC. SI Aniruddha Chattrerjee, SI Atish Chatterjee, SI Krishnendu Ghosh of DRBT Cell and SI Sandip Ganguly, SI Atanu Santra of Homicide Squad,CID under the leadership of Inspector Shri Kalyan Banerjee of Homicide Squad (IO of the case) arrested 1) Mithun Das ( 20 ) s/o Ashis Das of Barasat Nibedita Pally, District-North 24 Pargans 2)  Babu Chatterjee (25) @ Biswanath Chatterjee s/o Manik Chatterjee of Madhyamgram, New Khulnapally, PS- Barasat, District- North 24 Parganas and iii) Monojit Biswas (21)  @ Raju s/o Biren Biswas of 4 No. Basanti Colony, PS-Ultadanga.

8.  In pursuance of secret information , Inspector Shri Krishnendu Ghosh Dastidar of SOG,CID alongwith SI Pallab Ganguly, W/C Goutam Bhattacharya, W/C ganesh Chatterjee, W/C Souren Bhattacharya all of SOG,CID  held a raid on 10/02/2011 between 14:05 hrs and 15:20 hrs at Umarpur side near Sonar Bangla Hotel and arrested two accused persons namely 1) Badruddoza @ Badrul @ Badirul (22 years) s/o Samserjjoha of Omarpur PS- Raghunathganj and 2) Lasimuddin Sk ( 19 years) s/o Joynal Abadin of Sujnipara, PS- Suti, Murshidabad and seized four (4)  improvised fire arms (9 mm pistols),  8 magazines and 20 rounds 9 mm ammunitions from their possession.This refers to Raghunathganj PS Case No. 51 dated 10/02/2011 u/s 25(i)(a)(AA) Arms Act.

9.  One Sanjay Jain s/o Lt Sadhuram Jain of 47 Dobson Road, Howrah AC Market 3^rd Floor, Howrah-1 was receiving a  threat  call in his mobile phone from a person who introduced himself as a Rihaz, ( brother of Rihan), the caller demanded Rs. One Lakh Fifty thousand (Rupees  1,50,000 only ) otherwise his son will be kidnapped. Said Sanjay Jain lodged a written complaint to Golabari PS  and approached to Superior officers of CID,W est Bengal. SI Swarup Saha of SOG,CID was directed to associate with this case. He detected the case and the miscreant  namely Shankar Prasad Gupta s/o Lt Birbal Gupta  of 234 B M Road, Chapdani,  PS- Bhadreswar, District-Hooghly was arrested and his mobile phone set as well as SIM Card ( No. 8981716021)  from which he used to threat the complainant was recovered and seized.

10. On 04/02/11 one Smt Mousumi Ghosh w/o Anitava  Ghose lodged a written complaint in Baranagar PS to the effect that she and her husband alongwith one other had one construction company styled  as  Ghosh and Singh  Developers. She was threatened with dire consequences by one Tanmoy Ghosh of 1 Kali  Charan Ghosh Road, Baranagar, who introduced himself as 3^rd JM, High Court, Kolkata, on the pretext of giving relief in all legal problems. Said Tanmoy along with his associates, demanded 20 lakhs rupees from this company to continue their business.  Tanmoy Ghosh demanded 10 thousands rupees as consultancy fees. On 04/02/11 a case was registered by the complainant Smt Mousumi Ghosh at Baranagar PS through CID WB, vide Baranagar PS Case No: 52 Dt: 4.2.11. u/s  /419/420/467/468/471/120(B)/34 IPC.  The case was controlled by CID WB . During primary investigation the complainant was contacted who told that, the alleged criminals have further threatened her and had asked her to come to Regent Bar, Kamarhati, B.T.Road, under Khardah PS jurisdiction, 24 PGS(N) around 17:00hrs-17:30hrs. with Rs. 10,000/ on the same day ie, 04/02/2011. Accordingly, the pre trap memorandum was prepared. Around 17.00 hrs, on 04/02/2011,  the raid was conducted at Regent Bar and the following four accused persons were apprehended by catching there arms (upper part of the hand). Inspector Debashis Ghosh of MTS/CID/WB is investigating the case.

11. On the basis of the written complaint of one Partha Sarathi Dutta PS Ghatal that his  minor girl aged (14) , a student of Class IX, had been to her school. Since she did not return home till after 16:00 hrs. The complt and other relatives searched for her at probable places and then lodged a missing diary at Ghatal PS vide GDE No. 1293 dated. 23/07/10 and subsequently Ghatal PS Case No. 68/10 dated. 29/07/2010 u/s 363/366/366A IPC was started on 25/07/10.

On the basis of the complt, three FIR named accused persons were arrested viz. (1) Sk. Naziruddin (2) Sk Alauddin and (3) Sk Chottu. Sk Naziruddin is the grandfather of the prime accused Sk Rajib Mirdda and other two accused are maternal uncles of the prime accused. All the three FIR named accused persons except Rajib Mirdda were thus arrested and released on Court Bail. CID WB held raid in different places. But the prime accused or victim could not be located there. CID WB assumed control of investigation of the case on 13/01/10. Sincere efforts are being made by the IO of CID WB to collect present whereabouts of accused Rajib Mirdda and the victim girl. IO collected information that said Rajib Mirdda might be residing in Mumbai with the victim girl. IO held raid to arrest the accused and rescue the victim girl in Mumbai and ascertained the probable whereabouts of accused and the victim girl as well by analyzing various links and clues in this case. At last IO Inspector Smt. Sarbari Bhattacharjee, OC AHTU CID WB and I.O. of the case arrested the following accused and recovered the victim girl on 14/02/2011.

12. In pursuance of a secret information, Inspector Shri Sisir Roy , O/C DRBT Section , CID Inspector Shri Swapan Halder of do , SI Anirudhha Chatterjee of DRBT Section, SI Krishnendu Ghosh of do ,SI Sisir Naskar of do,  SI Samndip Ganguly  of Homicide Squad and ASI Debojit Das of do under the leadership of Shri Pannalal Bhattacharya, Dy.SP, Traditional Crime, CID, West Bengal held  raid on 09/02/2011 afternoon at Saktigarh, District-Burdwan. The Police team arrested 4 accused persons namely 1) Ashok Halder (32 ) s/o Sailen Halder of Champanagar, PS- Mandirbazar, District- South 24 Parganas 2) Solim Molla ( 32) s/o Kalachand Molla of Murigachhi, PS Diamond Harbour, District- South 24 Parganas 3) Kartick Barui ( 20 ) s/o Kalachand BArui of Sindrani, Simultala, District-North 24 Parganas and 4) Arjun Mondal (21) s/o Lt Dayal Mondal of Sindrani Harinagar, PS- Bagda, District- North 24 Parganas and recovered Five (5) improvised fire arms and 10 rounds bullet and one socket bomb from their possession. This refers to Burdwan PS Case No. 89 dated 09/02/2011 u/s 399/402 IPC & 25/27/35 Arms Act & 9(b) IE Act.

13. It was reported by one Shri Aninda Bera of Haltu, PS – Kasba that his mother Smt. Papia Bera (62 Yrs.) was found missing since 29-01-2011 evening and over this incident CID, MPB File No. 57-2011/1 /F (14) dt. 01-02-11 was opened. All informative actions were taken. The missing person was recovered from North Bidhannagar PS area who was moving aimlessly on the road. She was admitted at Pavlov Hospital with the help of SI M.Dey Sarkar of Bidhannagar PS. Accordingly informed the petitioner over telephone, this is obviously a good work on the part of CID, MPB.

14. One Mono Sk. @ Aminna (50) W/o Aansar Darji of Vill- Najurpur, Bagnan, PS Bagnan, Dist. Howrah was found missing since 15/2/07. After collecting information from e-mail message received by MPB, CID, WB from Universal Disabled Care Taker Social Welfare Society PRABH AASRA, Universal Disabled Care  Taker Social Welfare Society (Regd.), Kurali, Vill- Padiala, PS Kurali, Dist.- S.A.S Nagar (Mokkali), Panjab- 140103.  Persuasion was made and relatives of victim lady were traced and they were informed about the fact. At last the victim lady was recovered from PRABH AASRA, Universal Disabled Care  Taker Social Welfare Society (Regd.), Kurali, Vill- Padiala, PS Kurali, Dist.- S.A.S Nagar (Mokkali), Panjab- 140103. This is a good work done by  MPB, CID.

15 . One Tinku Barua  (38 Yrs.) W/o Prasanta Barua of  Nibadi Barna Para, PS – Barasat was found missing since 18-01-2011 and Jagaddal PS GDE No. 1338 dt. 21-01-11 was lodged over this incidence CID MPB File No. 57-2011/1 (A)/ F (6) dt. 03-02-11 was opened and all informative actions were taken. She made contact over phone to her husband and told that she was in danger and she told that she was confined at unknown place. From secret information location of the victim lady  was traced and she  was recovered from Bira, PS – Ashokenagar, Dist – North 24-Pgs. This is a good work done of MPB, CID.

16. On the basis of the written complaint of one Jagadish Naskar that his minor girl who had been kidnapped by one Amit Mondal on 04/10/10 with a view to compell her for marriage. The complainant personally searched his daughter and on 06/10/10 he lodged a written complaint at Baruipur PS against one Amit Mondal. This refers to Baruipur PS Case No. 900 dated 06/10/2010 u/s 363/366 IPC. During investigation, the I.O. Inspector Smt. Aparna Sarkar of MPB, CID recovered the victim girl D/o Jagadish Naskar of Naridana, PS Baruipur, Dist. South 24 Prgs on 21/02/11 from Ballygunj Railway Station and arrested the accused namely Amit Mondal S/o Santi Mondal of Oroncha, PS Baruipur, Dist. South 24 Parganas on 01/03/11 and produced before Ld. ACJM Court, Baruipur, and other FIR named accused person Santi Gopal Mondal S/o Late Jitendra Mondal of Oroncha, PS Baruipur, Dist. South 24 Parganas surrendered before Ld. ACJM, Baruipur. 

17. On 05.12.09 at about 15:30 hrs. one minor girl (15 Yrs.) of Panpur PS Haringhata, Dist. Nadia left her house on the pretext of getting tution at Vill. Basantapur in the house of Sailendra Nath Roy and did not return. It is learnt by the father that her daughter kept her cycle alongwith her school bag in the house of Sailendra Nath Roy and boarded on pillion of a motor bike and rushed away with two boys wearing helmet. It is also learnt from one girl  (18 Yrs.) of Shibpur, PS Chakdah, who reportedly ran away from Bombay after being confined in a house. It was learnt from her that she met the siad minor girl of Panpur PS Haringhata  who lived in the adjacent room of her at the same house under wrongful confinement. Both of them were compelled to sell their body. This refers to Haringhata PS Case No. 13 dated 15/01/2010 u/s 366/372 IPC. This case is investigated by SI Joybrata Ganguly, AHTU, CID, WB.  He visited the PO and examined the witnesses, talked with the 1st IO and IC Haringhta PS regarding devolopment of the case. He examined the complainant, local folk, friends, school mets, Private tutor and eye witnesses. He made contact with Manmad GRP, Maharastra from where Seuli Biswas boarded train. It was learnt that one taxi driver rescued the girl of Shibpur, Howrah  and brought her at that station/ IO desparately rushed to state of Maharashtra twice to rescue the victim girl Tuhina Khatoon reportedly sold out to brothels. IO conducted raid and rescue operation in Sirdi PS, Coopergaon PS under Ahemednagore district and Shalimar PS in Nasik for the first time and  subsequenly he made another attempt in Budhwarpet brothel in Pune with the help of local PS and source. But the VG is still untraced. Subsequently the suspect Sabuj Baran Biswas of Madhpur PS: Haringhata and Md. Israil @ Kalam @ Akash of Eliot lane, Kolkata were arrested in this case. Both were taken in PC. Ultimately the victim girl of Panpur, PS Haringhata, Dist. North 24 Prgs was recovered on 17/03/2011.

18. On 19.03.08 one B. Roy of 17, Gangadhar Sen Lane, Kol - 36 complained at Baranagar PS that his minor daughter (14 Yrs) went to school for examination. On the same day about 13:30 hrs. the complt. went to bring his daughter but found her absent from school. One Sanjib Chatterjee of Vill: Panua, P.S. Kotulpur Dist. Bankura working under one Subroto Choudhury of Baranagore used to disturb Sraboni while she used to go to her school or to attend tuition. The Complainant had a strong belief that Sanjib and Subroto kidnapped his daughter. On the basis of the written complaint of the complainant Baranagar PS Case No. 71/08 dated 19/03/2008 u/s 363/366 IPC & Adding Section 120B IPC was started. I.O. of the case, SI Hiralal Shaw of  POWC Cell, CID visited PO examined the complainant and available witnesses and recorded their statement under 161 Cr.P.C. Sanjib's brother Nirmal Chatterjee and his friend Rajib Garai were arrested by the firts IO of the Baranagar PS. Subroto Chowdhury, the FIR named accused surrendered in Court and was granted bail. IO held several raids to secure arrest of the principle accused Sanjib Chatterjee but with no fruitful result. Finally the kidnapped victim  girl  was recovered on 19/03/2011 from the House of Durgapada Chatterjee (father in law) Vill Govindapur, PO Lego, PS Kotulpur, Dist. Bankura. Accused Sanjib Chatterjee S/O Durga Pada Chatterjee of Vill. Govindapur, PO Lego, PS Kotulpur, Dist. Bankura Surrendered before Ld. ACJM, Barrackpore on 16/03/2011.

19. On 25/03/2011 in between  17:05 hrs and 19:45 hrs in pursuance of a secret information, Inspector Sk Mohammad F Hossain, SI Rajarshi Banerjee, SI S Bhattacharjee, ASI Mahasin Ali Khan and men of CID, West Bengal   held a raid at Sodpur-Madhyamgram Road, in front of APC College under PS-Barasat, District-North 24 Parganas and arrested the accused person Siplu Mallick @ Subha (31 years) S/o Subhas Mallick of Netajipally, Barasat, North 24 Parganas and seized  one 7.62 (approx) bore auto pistol, one empty magazine and two rounds of .303 live ammunitions from his exclusive possession. This refers to Barasat PS Case No. 505 dated 25/03/2011 u/s 25(i) (a)/27 Arms Act.

20. In pursusance of a secret information, officers and men of Homicide Squad and DRBT Section, CID held a raid at Khanakul PS area on 30/03/2011 at the house of one Sukanta Ghosh (45 years) s/o Sunil Ghosh of Duadanda Ghoshpur, PS-Khanakul, District Hooghly. He was arrested.  Police recovered four numbers of gold sticks of total weight 331.37 grams of 22 carat gold from his possession. He could not be able to provide any satisfactory reason for possessing the same. He is a habitual dealer of stolen and illegal gold. This refers to Khanakul PS Case No. 52/11 dated 30/03/2011 u/s 411/413/414/434 IPC. The said accused Sukanta Ghosh was wanted in c/w Baranagar PS Case No. 458 dated 14/11/2010 u/s 406/420 IPC.

21. In pursusance of a secret information, officers and men of Homicide Squad and DRBT Section, CID held a raid on 18/03/2011 afternoon, in between 15:45 hrs and 17:20 hrs. at Raiganj- Balurghat State Highway, near West Dinajpur Spinning Mill under Raiganj PS, District- Uttar Dinajpur and arrested a notorious criminal who was dealing in illegal arms and ammunitions – namely Amirul Khondokar (45 years) s/o Samsul Alam of Babhaikuri, near Busstand, PO + PS- Kusmandi, District- Dakshin Dinajpur. From his possession two country made pipeguns, one magazine of  9 MM pistol, two rounds of 8 mm KF live cartridges and one round of 9 MM live cartridge was recovered and seized. On close interrogation, the accused persons disclosed some other person’s name from whom he procures the illegal arms and ammunitions and to whom he sells those arms and ammunitions. This refers to Raiganj PS Case No. 149 dated 18/03/2011 u/s 25/27 Arms Act.

22. On 25/03/2011 afternoon, around 18:15 hrs one Rahul Chaturvedi (30) s/o Ravi Ballav Chaturvedi of 34/2 Pyari Mohan Mukherjee Street, PO- Belur Math, PS- Bally, District-Howrah was arrested by a team of CID, West Bengal comprising of SI Sougata Ghosh of MTS Section and men of CID, West Bengal under the leadership of Inspector Shri Samit Narayan Kundu, O/C Cyber Crime Cell and Inspector Shri Tapan Kumar Aditya, O/C MTS Section.  This refers to Bally PS Case No. 131 dated 25/03/2011 u/s 420/406 IPC R/W 66 D IT Act. The case was started over the complaint of one Shaikh Mohammaed Zaki (59) s/o Lt Hazi Dr. S M Ishaque of Bunglow No. 80, Middle Road, PO: - Barrackpore, Kolkata-120, PS-Barrackpore, District North 24 Parganas to the effect that his daughter (living in Singapur) was cheated and deceived by the said accused person over Facebook chatting and Rs.50000/- (Fifty Thousand only) was taken with a pretext of giving E-ticket of Singapur Airlines. 

23. In pursuance of a secret information in c/w Nimta PS Case No. 85 dated 02/06/2010 u/s 292/506 IPC repeat with 66A/67A IT Act, a raid was held by Inspector Shri Ashoke Chakraborty of Cheating & Fraud Section (IO of the case) alongwith SI Ayan Dutta of Cyber Crime Cell (Associating IO), SI Sougata Ghosh of MTS Section, ASI Gunasindhu Sahoo and Constable -221 Subir Das of Cyber crime Cell on  29/03/2011 at 19:30 hrs and one Subhankar Das S/o Sushil Kumar Das of 1/91/1 Bijoygarh Main Road, PS-Jadavpur was arrested from Infinity-II, the front space of  the office of IXIA Pvt. Limited, Salt Lake. He was arrested for Cyberstalking and obscene communication through E-Mail to an eminent Onchologist of a reputed Hospital in Kolkata.

24. In pursuance of a secret information, a raid was held by officers of Homicide Squad and DRBT Cell, CID, West Bengal at Durgapur  and Raniganj area, District- Burdwan. The team arrested the following accused persons:-They were arrested in c/w Durgapur PS Case No. 86 dated 04/03/2011 u/s 467/468/471/472/474/34 IPC & 25/27/35 Arms Act from “ WRITER SAFEGUARD PRIVATE LIMITED” at Nabapally under Durgapur PS jurisdiction and from “TEE KAY SECURITY AGENCY”, Sahebganj, Natun Pally, beside Raniganj-Mejia Road, PS- Raniganj, District-Burdwan on 04/03/2011 and  (i) Forty four (44) guns including 29 SBBL Guns and 15 DBBL Guns (ii) Thirty (30) 12 Bore live ammunitions (iii) Some Fake Licences were recovered and seized. i) Bamdeb Ghosh (33 years)  s/o Manik Chandra Ghosh of Kurmuna, PS- Galsi, Burdwan at present at I- Block , Nutan Pally, Benachiti, PS- Aurobindo, District- Burdwan. 2) Ajoy Mondal (37 years) s/o Sukhomoy Mondal of Village & Post- Kapistha, PS – Gangajalghati, District- Bankura, at present at DSP Quarter No. 3E/36, S N Banerjee Plot, PS- Aurobindo, District- Burdwan. 3) Debabrata Sutradhar (34) s/o Late Rajbehari Sutradhar of Village + PO- Amrai, PS- Aurobindo, District- Burdwan. 4) Fotik Sk (27 ) s/o Syed Ali Sk of Kataban, PO- Hatasuria, PS- Barjora, District Bankura. 5) Sk Abdul Mannan (40 years) s/o Sk Motin of Sonabandhi, PS Pandabeswar, District Burdwan at present at Village + PO- Amrai, PS- Aurobindo, District- Burdwan. 6) Kunja Pramanik (29 years) s/o Subrata Pramanik of Ward No. 23, CPT Market , PS- Durgachak, District- Purba Medinipur  7) Shraban Kumar (29 years) s/o Guleswat Kewat of Bhabaus, PS- Sekhpura, District- Sekhpura, Bihar. 8) Prem Prakash Pandey (25 years) s/o Radhamohan Pandey of Rahathua, PS- Brahmapur, District- Buxar, Bihar.

25. In pursuance of a secret information, Inspector Smt. Sarbari Bhattacharjee, O/C AHTU CID, West Bengal alongwith LSI Swapna Ghosh, WC/T-100 Santosh Kumar Yadav held a raid on 29/03/2011 at the house of Santosh Chakraborty s/o Lt Adhir Kumar Chakraborty, Kamalpur, Shyamnagar, PS- Jagatdal, District-North 24 Parganas and recovered one victim girl of Khorhagachhi, PS- Chanditala Hooghly who was abducted by accused Deep Sarkar s/o Monoj Sarkar of Chirkhand, PS- Chanditala, District-Hooghly On 29/03/2011. They also arrested the accused person on 29/03/2011. The arrested accused person eloped the girl and married her. This refers to Chanditala PS Case No. 59/08 dated 06/06/2008 u/s 365/366 IPC and AST 39 of 2011 and ASTA 31 of 2011 Abhijit Chowdhuri –vs- Gobinda Pada Ghosh at Hon’ble High Court, Kolkata.  Inspector Smt. Sarbari Bhattacharya wonderfully assisted the Investigating Officer in this case by arresting the FIR named accused person as well as recovering the victim girl. 

26. In pursuance of a secret information , Inspector Smt. Sarbari Bhattacharjee, O/C AHTU CID, West Bengal alongwith LSI Swapna Ghosh, LWC-T-52 Soma Chakraborty of AHTU Cell & SI Tirtha Sarathi Halder of Law Cell, CID held a raid   on 17/03/2011 at Village Chak Raju Molla in the house of accused Tarak Pradhan s/o Late Bablu Pradhan of village- Chak Raju Mollah, PO- Pailan, PS- Bishnupur, district- South 24 Parganas  and arrested the accused Tarak in c/w Bishnupur PS Case No. 365/09 dated 30/07/2009 u/s 365/366/120B IPC & W.P. No. 1799(W) of 2011 Ram Prasad Datta – vs- State of West Bengal & Others at Hon’ble High Court, Kolkata. They also successfully recovered the victim girl of Village- Amtala (Adarsha Pally) near Gonindanagar, PS- Bishnupur, District- South 24 Parganas from Bomanhali Bus Stand, PS- Madiwala, Bangalore.  Inspector Smt. Sarbari Bhattacharya wonderfully assisted the Investigating Officer in this case by arresting the FIR named accused person as well as recovering the victim girl.

27. CID, West Bengal Missing File No. 57-2011/ 1/ F (23) dt. 22-02-11 was opened over the missing of one Pinki Baidya on the basis of the written complaint of Gopal Baidya of 54 A, Dharmatala Road ,. Po- Kasba, Dist- South 24Pgs. In this regard Kasba PS- G.D.E No- 2274 dt- 24. 01.2011 was done. All informative actions were taken accordingly. During enquiry it was learnt that the missing subject was kept under Arabinda PS area, Durgapur, Burdwan. At last the missing person was traced on 31.03.2011 from Arabinda P.S area at Durgapur, Burdwan. This is obviously good work done on the part of CID, MPB, Section.

28. On 28/03/2011 one minor boy namely Umasankar Dey (13 yes) S/o Ramesh Chandra Dey of Pauskuli, PS- Singla, Dist- Balasore, Orissa was recovered from Howrah Platform and the missing boy was made over to the O/C MPB ,CID. Examining the missing Boy, it was learnt that he left his house on 26/03/2011. O/C Singla PS was contacted and it revealed that the Singla PS GDE No- 8 dt- 27/03/2011 was done over the missing incidence. The minor boy was kept at the shelter home of childline on 28/03/2011and he was made over to this guardian on 29/03/2011. This is obviously a good work done on the part of CID, MPB section. 

29. On 10/03/2011 at 16:35 hrs in pursuance of a secret information, officers and men of Narcotic Cell and Burdwan DD of CID, West Bengal held a raid near Bankura Morh Bazar under PS Raina and arrested three accused persons namely (1) Sk Kibria (50 years) (2) Sk Amir Ali (26 years) and (3) Harai Sk (35 years) and seized 9 kgs 225 grams Opium from their position. This refers to Raina PS Case No. 23 dated 10/03/2011 u/s 17 (C) /18 (B) /29 NDPS Act. 

30. On 24/03/2011 at 11:00 hrs, in pursuance of a secret information, officers and men of Purbe Medinipur DD, CID, West Bengal held a raid at Dunarihat area under PS Tamluk and arrested one accused namely Sk Jalal (55 years) s/o Lt Khodabox of village Barisha, PS- Kolaghat, District Purba Medinipur and seized one improvised fire arms loaded with one round bullet marked as KF – 8 MM. This refers to Tamluk PS Case No. 144 dated 24/03/2011 u/s 25(i) (a)/27 Arms Act. 

31. On the night of 21-22/03/2011, in pursuance of a secret information, officers and men of Hooghly DD of CID, West Bengal held a raid at Telenipara Ferryghat under PS Bhadreswar, Hooghly and arrested one Kanai Chowdhury s/o Lt Jagannath Chowdhury of Telenipara Ferrighat and recovered one country made six chambered pipe gun along with one round .38 bore ammunition from his possession. This refers to Bhadreswar PS Case No. 56 dated 22/03/2011 u/s 25(i) / 27 Arms Act. 

32. In pursuance of secret information, officers and men of SOG, CID, West `Bengal held raid at NSC Road near Kamalgazi More under PS Sonarpur, District South 24 Parganas on 10/03/2011 and arrested (1) Rajesh Sharma (35 years) (2) Basab Naskar and seized one SBBL Gun, 4 pcs one shotter, 50 rounds live ammunitions of different categories and one motor cycle Hero Honda Super Splender from their possession. This refers to Sonarpur PS Case No. 202 dated 10/03/2011 u/s 25(a) (1A) (1AA) Arms Act.

 33. On 29/03/2011 at 19:25 hrs, acting upon a secret source information, officers and men of Howrah DD,CID, West Bengal  held  a raid at Howrah Fire Service Bus Stand and arrested one veteran criminal namely Arun Saxena @ Petta (20 years) and seized one improvised fire arms and one round ammunition. This refers to Golabari PS Case No. 158 dated 29/03/2011 u/s 25(i) (a)/27 Arms Act.

34. On 29/03/2011 in between 14:05 hrs and 15:35 hrs, a team of CID, West Bengal under supervision of Inspector Shri Md. Sk Feroz Hossain of CID, West Bengal camped at Ashoke Nagar PS held a raid in pursuance of a secret information at Guma Hat near Guma Railway Station and arrested one Prashanta Sarkar (35) s/o Ranjit Sarkar of Ghoshpara, Gitapally, Ashokenagar Majherpara, Kolapur, PS- Bongaon and recovered Rs.40000/- as FICN. This refers to Ashoknagar PS Case No. 130/11 dated 29/03/2011 u/s 489B/489C IPC. 

35. On 30/03/2011, in pursuance of secret information, officers and men of DRBT Section, CID and Homicide Section, CID held a raid at Khanakul area and arrested one Sukanta Ghosh (45 years) s/o Sunil Ghosh of Duadando Ghoshpara, PS- Khanakul, District- Hooghly and seized 4 (four numbers of Gold Sticks) total weight 331.37 Grams from his house as stolen property. This refers to Khanakul PS Case No. 52/11 dated 30/03/2011 u/s 411 /413/414/34 IPC.

36. On 31/03/2011, in pursuance of secret information, DDI Burdwan, CID, West Bengal alongwith staff of Burdwan DD held a raid under Burdwan PS area and arrested one Sk Azizul (30 years) s/o Lt Samsul Sk of Suchpur, PS- Nanoor, District- Birbhum and recovered one country made improvised fire arms loaded with one round .38 KF ammunition from his possession. This refers to Burdwan PS Case No. 205/11 dated 31/03/2011 u/s 25(i) (a)/27 Arms Act. 

37. On 03/04/2011, in pursuance of secret information, DDI South Industrial and men of South Industrial DD, CID, West Bengal held a raid at SD-4 Bus Stand, Thakupukur and arrested two veteran criminals namely (a) Auijit Mondal @ Khokon and (b) Buddhadeb Halser and recovered one country made revolver and 5 (five) rounds of .32 ammunitions, one pipe gun loaded with .303 ammunition from their possession. This refers to Thakurpukur PS Case No. 167 dated 03/04/2011 u/s 399/402 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act.

38. On 01/04/2011, one Sri Jayanta Dutta s/o Lt Gobinda Chandra Dutta was missing. This refers to Dum Dum PS GDE No. 17 dated 01/04/2011. Subsequently, MPB file no. 57-2011/1A/M(26) dated 01/04/2011 was opened. Various informative actions were taken. From secret information, the location of the missing person was traced and he was recovered on 29/04/2011. This is a good work of MPB,CID.

39. On 02/04/2011 one Sri Achinta Mitra s/o Amya Bhusan Mitra of Raja Rammohan Roy Road, PS- Thakurpukur was missing. This refers to Thakurpukur  PS GDE No. 183 dated 03/04/2011. Subsequently, MPB file no. 57-2011/1/M(34) dated 05/04/2011 was opened. Various informative actions were taken. The  ATM card of the missing person’s Bank Account was searched. Finally, the from secret information, the location of the missing person location of the missing person was traced and he was recovered on 23/04/2011. This is a good work of MPB,CID.

 40.  On 30/06/2011 evening, the officers of DRBT Section, CID conducted a raid at Julpia- Uchakhali Road under Bishnupur PS, District- South 24 Parganas with the assistance of officer and men of Bishnupur PS and arrested two accused persons namely 1) Hannan Mondal (29 years) s/o Ismail Mondal of Koabati, PS- Kultali, South 24 Parganas and 2) Alauddin Sk (22 years) s/o Ajit Ali Sk of 1 No. Dighirpar, 4 No. Naskarpara, PS- Kultali, South 24 Parganas while they were traveling by an auto rickshaw having no. WB19-8081. Police officers seized a) three (3) pipe guns b) one (1) improvised long arms and c) Six (6) rounds improvised fire arms from their possession.

41.    Officers and men of DRBT Section,CID West Bengal organized a raid under Perundurai PS , Erode District, Tamil Nadu in c/w Hemnagar Coastal PS ( West Bengal) Case No. 2 dated 02/03/2011 u/s 395/397 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act adding Section 396/412 IPC and arrested the principal accused person Bansiram Mondal (35 years) s/o Shibapada Mondal of Paschim Amtoli, Hazirapara, PS Sundarban Coastal, District- South 24 Parganas, West Bengal A/P of Bharatnagar, West Panikkampalayam, PS- Perundurai Ideal Police Station, District- Erode , Tamil Nadu on 14/07/2011 at 05:30 hrs from near of his rented house at Panikkampalayam, PS- Perundurai Ideal Police Station and his wife Samt Karuna Mondal had been intimated regarding his arrest. O/C Sundarban Coastal PS was requested to verify the C/A of the accused person and O/C Hingalganj PS was requested to inform whether he was wanted in any other case or not and to take n/a accordingly. 

 42. On 08/07/2011 in pursuance of a secret source information O/C DRBT Section, CID alongwith SI Sandip Ganguly and SI Atanu Santra of CID WB held raid at EEDF Bus Stand under Jadavpur PS and arrested two accused persons namely 1) Golenoor Mandal (38 years) s/o Lt Rohul Amin Mondal of Bhagali Laksmidanga PS- Murarai, Birbhum 2) Madhab Show (49 years) s/o Sri Tulu Show of 5 No. Gokul Boral Street, PS- Muchipara, Kolkata-12 alongwith two idols and police seized the same. This refers to Jadavpur PS Case No. 406 dated 08/07/2011 u/s 379/411/413/414 IPC. 

43.Two veteran dacoits namely a) Debendranath Mondal @ Deben (65 yrs) s/o Lt Manik Chand Mondal of Puinjali PS – Sunderban Coastal South 24 Parganas and house of Tapan Mondal of Piyali PS Canning, South 24 Parganas b) Chaitanya Mondal (36) s/o Debendranath Mondal @ Deben of Puinjali Uttarpara, PS- Sunderban Coastal , South 24 Parganas were arrested in c/w Hemnagar Coastal PS Case No. 2 dated 02/03/2011 u/s 395/397 IPC & 25/27 Arms Act, adding Section 396 IPC on 18/05/2011 from Satjelia and Puinjali respectively under Sunderban Coastal PS the stolen mobile phone was recovered as Stolen Recovery Property . The accused persons had been forwarded in the Court of Ld. ACJM, Basirhat on 19/05/2011. 

44. Inspector POWC Cell, CID and her officers & men held raid in a Brothel cum hotel styled as “Ma Kali Hotel & Restaurant” at Kanchanpur, Keshabpur Jalpai beside National Highway 41 under PS Mahishadal, District- Purba Medinipur on 22/06/2011 in between 04:30 hrs and 07:45 hrs in pursuance of an allegation for commercial sexual exploitation trade and arrested 7 accused persons namely (a) Tapas Senapati (24) s/o Ganesh Senapati, Vill Billamuria, PS Digha,Dist Purba Mednipore (b) Sougata Bera (32) s/o Gurupada Bera of do. (c) Amit Jana (21) s/o Tirthapada Jana, Vill Kharalbogra PS Digha, Dist Purba Mednipore.(d) Sidhartha Das (28) s/o Tushar Baran Das,Vill Lakshanpur, PS Khejuri, Dist Purba Mednikpore. (e) Tapan Manna (37) s/o Parimal Manna of do & (f) Sudarsan Mahato (21) s/o Niranjan Mahato ,Vill Zhiling,PS Bagmundi, Dist Purulia (g) Pradip Gope (25) s/o Debendranath Gope of do. The police recovered 6 girls as well as 4 major girls .

45. On the basis of the Hon’ble High Court Order Sheet dated 09/06/2011 in c/w W.P. No. 7453 (W) of 2011 ,Hingalganj PS Case No. 169/2008 dt. 07/12/2008 u/s 363/366 IPC was assumed Conntrol by CID, West Bengal. This case is basically related to kidnapping of one victim girl. . Inspite of their best effort local PS could not be able to trace out or to recover the victim girl. Later on two accused persons namely a) Maharaj Singh S/O Hemraj Singh of Village Hazratpur, PS Khurja Dehat, Dist. Bulandsahar, Uttarpradesh and b) Uttam Singh S/O Hemraj Singh of Village Hazratpur, PS Khurja Dehat, Dist. Bulandsahar, Uttarpradesh were arrested on 05/07/2011 by the officers of AHTU, CID. 

46. On the night of 15/16-06-2011 under direct supervision of Dy.SP Special Cell,CID a team of officers and men of AHTU held a raid at Howrah railway Station near Complex P F No. 22 and arrested four (4) accused persons namely a) Jalmin Sk (21) S/O Hannan Sk of Anna, PS Ketugram, Dist. Burdwan b) Mafijul Sk (20) S/O Lt. Rahom Sk of Anna, PS Ketugram, Dist. Burdwan c) Adar Sk (21) S/O Sukhchand Sk of Ojalsah PS Ketugram, Dist. Burdwan & d) Sabu Sk (19) S/O Samir Sk of Anna, PS Ketugram, Dist. Burdwan and rescued three (3) minor boys namely a) Santa Sk (10 yrs.) S/O Lt. Hanu Sk of Ojalsah PS Ketugram, Dist. Burdwan b) Safidul Mallick (13 yrs) S/O Malai Mallick of Ojalsah PS Ketugram, Dist. Burdwan c) Khusad Sk (12 yrs.) S/O Khusbur Sk of Ojalsah PS Ketugram, Dist. Burdwan from the possession of the above accused and they are at safe custody of CWC, Howrah as per order of Ld. Court. This refers to Howrah GRPS Case No. 242/2011 dt. 16/06/2011 u/s 363/363A IPC. 

47. On 01/06/2011 one Narendra Nath Dutta w/o Kestolal Dutta of 576 Laha Bagan PS- Lake Town complained that on 27/05/2011 he made an advance payment to buy one valuable magnet for personal reason. The date of delivery was fixed. But the seller did not deliver the magnet. The complainant thought that he was cheated. Accordingly he informed the matter to CID and on 01/06/2011 he had been at PS and lodged the complaint. Accordingly at the same line, a team of CID, West Bengal had been at PS and a joint raid was held with the local officers of Lake Town PS and arrested one accused person Arif Billa of Basirhat PS alongwith other accused person and police also seized the said magnet from their possession. This refers to Haroa PS Case No. 124/2011 dt. 01/06/2011 u/s 420/120B/379/411 IPC.

48. CID, West Bengal Missing File No. 56-2010/ 1A/ F (41) dt. 05-05-2010 was opened over the missing of one Soma Prodhan, 18 Yrs. D/o Srikanta Prodhan, 428 Tabin Road, Netaji Colony, PO – SBPO, PS – Baranagar, Dist – North 24-Parganas after receipt of a complaint from Mili Prodhan, the mother of the missing girl. All informative actions were taken accordingly. On Secret information, lastly the location of the missing girl was traced and the missing girl had been recovered from Nimta, North 24-Parganas. This is a good work on the part of MPB Section.

49. One Krishna Sankar Show (17 Yrs.) S/o Mohan Das Show of 13/ 17 MNK Road, PS – Baranagar, Dist – North 24-Parganas was reported to have been missing since 29-05-10 from his residence. As per existing system the CID MPB took all informative actions. From secret information, the location was detected at Mumbai, MPB Section issued an authorization letter to the father of the missing subject. At the same time the booth owner was requested to held up the boy and to handover the parents who is who is going to Mumbai with the photographs of the missing subject. Subsiquently the missing boy has ben recovered. This is a good work on the part of the MPB, Section. 

50.CID, West Bengal Missing File No. 56-2010 / 5/ M (11) dt. 11-03-2010 was opened over the missing of one Bappa Dutta (36 Yrs.) D/o Dhiren Dutta, 101 Jayantanagore, PO – Hindmotor, PS – Uttarpara, Dist – Hooghly. All informative measures like telecasting, broadcasting and publication in daily leading news-paper was done. From secret information location of the missing boy was detected at Sabang PS area under District Paschim Medinipur. A letter was issued to the father of the missing subject and O/C Sabang was requested to help the father of the missing person. Thus by the long effort of the missing section the person was recovered from Sabang PS area. 

51. One Amrita Bhowmick (16 years) d/o Phanibhusan Bhowmick of PS- Haringhata District- Nadia was reported to be missing on 15/02/2011. Over the missing incidence, MPB File No. 57-2011/2/F(2) dated 07/03/2011 was opened. All informative actions were done and finally the minor missing girl was recovered on 29/05/2011. This is obviously a good work done in the part of MPB, CID. 

52. One Tarun Kumar Hati (52) s/o Khistish Chandra Hati of Falta, Falta , South 24 Parganas was reported to be missing on 15/05/2011 and subsequently Missing File No. 57- 2011/1/M dated 24/05/2011 was opened . All informative actions were done and the missing person was located. At last on 27/05/2011 the missing person was recovered.

 53. On 16/03/2011, one Soumen Chowdhury s/o Sri Santipada Chowdhury of PS Kasba District- South 24 Parganas was reported to be missing. This information was entered in Kasba PS GDE No. 586 Dated 09/04/2011 and subsequently MPB File No. 57-2011/1/M dated 18/04/2011 was opened. Various informative actions including enquiry of mobile phone were taken and the location of the missing person was traced. At last the missing person was recovered on 14/06/2011. 

54. CID, West Bengal Missing File No. 57-2011/5/F(9) dated 30/05/2011 was opened over the missing of one Sangita Anand (15 years) d/o Somnath Anand of Srirampore Hooghly. After taking necessary measures, the missing minor girl was recovered on 06/06/2011. This is obviously a good work done on the part of MPB, CID. 

55.  On 02/06/2011, one Tumpa Majumder (27 yrs) d/o Tapash Mallick of Khardah, District North 24 Parganas was reported to be missing. This information was entered in Khardah PS GDE No.-207 dated 03/06/2011 and subsequently MPB File No. 57/2011/1A/F(24) dated 08/06/2011 was opened. All informative actions were done and at last on 10/06/2011, the missing person was recovered. This is a good work of MPB, CID. 

56. One Smt. Suparna Chatterjee (50) w/o Subir Chatterjee of Regent Park PS District- North 24 Parganas was reported to be missing since 02/06/2011. Over this information MPB File No. 57-2011/1/F(53) dated 17/06/2011 was opened. All informative actions were done and at last on 21/06/2011, the missing person was recovered. This is a good work of MPB, CID. 

57. One Smt. Sonamoni Santra D/O Meghnath Santra of Haripal District- Hooghly was reported to be missing on 15/06/2011. The missing incidence was diarised at Haripal PS with reference to GDE No. 915 dated 16/06/2011 and subsequently missing file no. 57-2011/5/F(11) was opened. All informative actions were done and at last on 22/06/2011, the missing person was recovered. This is a good work of MPB, CID.

 58. The investigation of Sadaipur PS Case No. 74/08 dt. 12.11.08 u/s 302/376(g) /120B/34 IPC & 25/27/35 Arms Act was assumed control by CID, West Bengal. Inspector Shri  A.S.Pahari, O/C Homicide Squad, CID, West Bengal investigated the case. The I/O made ultimate effort to detect the case and collected  strong evidence. Charge Sheet was submitted in stipulated period and custodial trail was commenced from 26.10.09 to 26.07. in the Ld. Court of District & Session Judge, Birbhum and on 29.07.11 the Ld court passed the judgment against four accused in which death sentence was given to the accused persons namely a) Kiriti Pal b) Siddique Mia and c) Mustaque Mia for commission of offence u/s 302 IPC and also sentenced to life imprisonment of same accused persons   for the offence u/s 376(2) (g) IPC with Rs.5,000/- as fine. Further sentence for 3 years imprisonment was given to accused Kiriti, Siddique and Mustaque for the offence u/s 25(i)(a)(b) Arms Act. Accused Durga Sutradhar, Kiriti Pal, Siddique Mia & Mustaque Mia were sentenced for life imprisonment for the offence u/s 120B I.P.C.

91. On 27/07/2011 Officers of AHTU  CID, West Bengal arrested  one  accused person namely Rakesh Mondal @ Rakesur of Susinanpur, PS Lalbag, Dist. Murshidabad from Kalyan East, PS Koleshwadi, PS Maharashtra in c/w Shyampur PS Case No. 228/11 dt. 17/07/11 u/s 363/366A/120B IPC and on the same day the AHTU officers also recovered the victim girl under  PS Lalbag, Dist. Murshidabad from Kalyan East, PS Koleshwadi, PS Maharashtra. .

On 27/07/2011 Officers of AHTU  CID, West Bengal arrested  one  accused person namely Rakesh Mondal @ Rakesur of Susinanpur, PS Lalbag, Dist. Murshidabad from Kalyan East, PS Koleshwadi, PS Maharashtra in c/w Shyampur PS Case No. 228/11 dt. 17/07/11 u/s 363/366A/120B IPC and on the same day the AHTU officers also recovered the victim girl under  PS Lalbag, Dist. Murshidabad from Kalyan East, PS Koleshwadi, PS Maharashtra.

92. On 27/07/2011 Officers of AHTU  CID, West Bengal arrested  one  accused person namely Tushar Raj s/o  Prasunna Raj of Rajmatia, PS Paschim  Medinipur in c/w Canning PS Case No. 45 dt. 30/01/2010 u/s 363/366/120B IPC (CID assisting case) from PS Datan area , District Paschim Medinipur  and on the same day the AHTU officers also recovered the victim girl  under PS Canning, South 24 Prgs. from from PS - Datan area , District - Paschim Medinipur 

93. On 08/07/2011 in pursuance of a secret information , Inspector Shri Abhas Nandi O/C SOG,CID  alongwith force conducted raids at various places in the district of Bankura and secured arrest of another two accused persons namely 1) Swapan Mahanto @ Lulu (25) s/o Gokul Mahanta of Chandkuri PS Taldangra, Bankura and 2) Indrajit Paul @ Gorachand (30) s/o Balaram Paul of Village- Biborda, PS Taldangra , Bankura  in c/w Chapra PS Case No. 54 dated 05/02/2011 u/s 384/420/506/120B/34 IPC. On interrogation the above noted accused persons confessed that they along with other associates are operating one racket behind one coaching centre namely ( Maa Tara Coaching Centre) and collected huge money for extorting and cheated the candidates of different government jobs of Defence & Police.

94. On 03/07/2011 Officers of AHTU  CID, West Bengal arrested  two accused persons namely  a) Riktarani Shit W/O Pradyut Shit of Dakshin Laksminarayanpur, PS Pathar Pratima, South 24 Prgs & b) Subhasish Shit @ Naru @ Kiran S/O Pradyut Shit of Dakshin Laksminarayanpur, PS Pathar Pratima, South 24 Prgs in c/w Haringhata PS Case No.302 dt. 21.6.11 u/s 363/366A IPC and recovered the victim girl namely under PS: Haringhata, Nadia on 02/07/2011.

95. On 18/5/11 one Jayanta Sanfui s/o Pradip Sanfui was reported missing from H/o Sukesh Sahoo of Vill Purba Debipur PS Maipith Coastal Dist South 24 Pgs on 18/05/11 at about 0700 hrs for attending private tuition, but not yet returned. Joyanta Sanfui aged 13 yrs was staying at the house of Sukesh Sahoo as a paying guest for academic reasons.    Sukesh Sahoo use to compel missing Jayanta Sanfui to do menial domestic work forcefully against his will. This act on the part of Sukesh Sahoo caused serious mental said back in the mind of Jayanta Sanfui and he left the house for unknown destination. Accordingly Probodh Sanfui S/o Lt. K.M.Sanfui of Deulbari PS Kultali Dist South 24 Pgs. and lodged a GD vide GDE No 560/11 Dt. 19/05/11. On the basis of the GDE no. MPB, CID Missing File No. 57-2011/1/M(44) dt. 25/5/11 was opened. All informative action i.e broadcasting through A.I.R, telecasting through Doordarshan and requisition for publication the photographs of the missing subject in daily leading newspaper was done and same has been uploaded with photographs to NIC Portal for circulating the same as per guide line of Hon’ble Supreme Court 2002. In addition to this posters with the photograph and descriptive roll of missing subject were pasted at various conspicuous places of Rly. Stn. Bus stand etc. On 12/7/11 one local tea stall service boy identified the missing subject on perusing the poster and found him at the h/o Jahirul s/o Jaiuddin of nearby village of Mollickpore R/S. Finally that tea stall boy collected the phone no. cunningly from the pocket of Jayanta Sanfui and informed Probodh Sanfui of the where about of Jayanta Sanfui finally Probodh Sanfui went to Mallickpore on 14/7/11 and got the missing boy Jayanta Sanfui. This is a good work done by MPB, CID and important approach by officers of MPB, CID succeeded in recover of the missing subject.

96. On 9.6.11 one boy named Krishna Shaw S/O Ajoy Shaw aged about 16 yrs was reported missing from Bhadreswar. Accordingly MPB File No. 57-2011/4/M/(80) dt. 22.06.11 was started following Bhadreswar PS GDE NO. 1010 dt.10.06.2011.  All informative actions have been taken as per Supreme Court guideline 2002.  On 18.7.2011 one Suman Kundu of Uchalan Gram Panchayet under Maadhabdihi P.S., Dist. Burdwan informed over phone regarding recovery of a boy aged about 16 yrs.  The boy failed to disclose his address or identity except his nick name ‘Raju’ According we collect the photograph of the body from Uchalan G.P.through e-mail and compared the photograph with missing file by using MCTP, and the photograph matched with photograph of Krishna Shaw (Raju). Finally, the boy is recovered from Uchalan G.P. by Madhabdihi Police Station and handed over to his father Baijnath Shaw. This work is done with ultimate perseverance and continuous effort by MPB CID.

98. Shri Debasis Banik submitted a written statement that his wife and children’s disappeared from her matrimonial house on 28.6.2011. In this regard a missing file has been opened vide No. 57-2011/1/F(63) dt. 12.7.2011 and all informative action i.e. Telecasting through Electronics media and publications through print media sent through Director & cultural affairs , Writers Buildings , Kolkata vide No. 6491/MPB dt. 13.7.2011 . From secret information location of  the missing subject was traced  on 13.7.2011 and police came to know that she stayed at Kolaghat for 15 days with the person name Shrikaanta after that she went to Ramnagore under East Midnapore District and stayed with Bina Shaw wife of Ramu Shaw for another 10 days. Ramnagore Police was asked to visit the house of Bina Shaw w/o Ramu Shaw to trace out the lady. But on 18.7.2011 the missing subject along with her two kids came to her mother’s house .at Behala Begorekhal.

99. On 08/07/2011, in pursuance of secret information, Shri Swapan Kumar Halder, O/C DRBT Cell alongwith other officers and men of CID, held a raid at EEDF Bus Stand under Jadavpur PS and arrested two accused persons namely 1) Golenoor Mondal (38 years) s/o Lt Rahul Amin Mondal of village Bhagail Laxmidanga, PS- Murarai, Birbhum and 2) Mahadeb Shaw (49 years) s/o Shri Tulu Shaw of 5 No. Gokul Boral Street, Muchipara, Kolkata -12 and seized two idols from their possession. This refers to Jadavpur PS Case No. 406/2011 dt. 08/07/2011 u/s 379/411/413/414 IPC 

100. On 30/06/2011 evening, officers and men of DRBT section, CID, West Bengal held a raid at Jalapai - Uchakhali Road under Bishnupur PS area with the help of staff of Bishnupur PS (South 24 Parganas) area and arrested two accused persons namely a) Hannan Mondal (29 years) s/o Ismail Mondal of Koabati, PS- Kultali , South 24 Parganas and b) Alauddin Sk ( 29 years) s/o Azit Ali Sk of 1 No. Dighir Par, 4 No. Naskarpara, PS- Kultali, South 24 Parganas and seized three (3) improvised pipeguns and six (6) rounds of ammunitions from their possession. This refers to Bishnupur (South 24 Parganas) Case No. 593/2011 dt. 30/06/2011 u/s 25/27/35 Arms Act.

101. Baruipur PS Case No 699/11 Dt 17.7.2011 U/S 366/363A IPC-

On 27.7.11 leading to the statement of the arrested accused Iran Ali Mollah S/O Pear Ali Mollah of Bhotia Mollaha para,PS Canning Officers of Baruipur PS recovered the victim girl of Majharhat PS Baruipur from Old Delhi area. The same team also recovered one missing woman from GB Road area The woman was missing  and had informed of her location to her home on the basis of which the recovery was made.

102. Chanditola PS Case No 162 Dt 23.7.2011u/s 363/365/368 IPC

 Over the incident of missing of two women both of Chanditola and subsequent registration of a case of kidnapping Chanditola Police arrested two women Anjana Bibi @Dutta W/O Abu Kalam  and Basanti Boral w/o Lt Ranjit Boral of Dankuni & leading to their confessional statement rescued two women from Chandrani Layout,Bangalore,where both these women were taken by one Allaudin of Murshidabad with the help of the arrested accused persons.

103. Canning PS Case No. 81/11 dt. 23/02/2011 u/s 363/366A IPC was assumed by AHTU, CID . A team of AHTU went to Mumbai with a view to recover the victim Mallika Mondal and raided brothels in Budhwarpet, Pune city after getting source information that the VG was in Disco building in Pune city.  But the recovery of VG could not be secured. However, the following accused was shown arrest in this case and taken to police remand. He was shown arrest from Baruipur PS Case No. 699 dated 17/07/2011 u/s 363/366A IPC.

104. Raidighi PS Case No. 16/11 dated 31/01/2011 u/s 363/366A/34  IPC  was assumed by POWC  cell. A team led by O/C AHTU with IO of the case went to Mumbai on 13/8/2011 and recovered and rescued the victim girl of Bakultala, PS Raidighi, Dist. South 24 Prgs on 16/08/2011 after identified her in a shelter home run by a NGO. Prior to that a detailed search was done in respect of victim in out state’s shelter home.             The victim girl rescued from Pune Rescue Foundation and produces before the Ld. A.C.J.M, Shibaji Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra with prayer for 7 days transit and produced before Ld. A.C.J.M, Diamond Harbour, South 24 Prgs.

105. Hingalgunj PS Case No. 169/08 dated 07/12/08 u/s 63/366 IPC

 A team from AHTU further rushed to Khurja,Dehat in  Bulandsahar , UP on 21/8/2011 in c/w Hingalgunj PS Case No. 169/08 dated 07/12/08 u/s 63/366 IPC along with the principle accused Yagraj Singh @ Rokraj S/O Hemraj Singh of Village Hazratpur, PS Khurja Dehat, Dist. Bulandsahar, Uttarpradesh who was arrested on 16/08/2011and brought to West Bengal and taken into police remand from Basirhat court. After reaching Khurja the AHTU team searched the probable place as shown by principle accused and seized some bones seems to be of human being. This bone could.be of victim girl who is reportedly murdered by the principle accused. The accused arrested on 16/08/2011 from Hazratpur, Khurja Dehat, Bulandsahar, UP with a prayer for 7 (Seven) days transit remand before Ld. A.C.J.M, Bulandsahar to produce before Ld. A.C.J.M, Basirhat. The Ld. A.C.J.M, Bulandsahar was pleased for granting 4 days transit remand and produced the arrested accused before Ld. A.C.J.M, Basirhat by 20/08/2011.

106. Mahishadal PS Case No. 170 dated 22-6-2011 u/s   363/365/366/366A/366B/372/373/34 IPC and Section 3/4/5/6/7/9 ITP Act was further taken up in a view to arrest the following accused. Lakshmi Kanta Maity S/O Lt. Jnada Charan Maity of Chakdariberia, PS Mahishadal, Dist. Purba Medinipur. He was shown arrested 30/08/2011 from Ramnagar PS Case No. 45 dt. 20/04/09 u/s 365/366/366A/367/372/34 IPC & 3/4/5/6/9 ITP Act

107. Anandapur PS Case No. 36/11 dt. 06/06/11 u/s 148/149/448/506/302/301/201/120B IPC & 25/27 Arms Act

 Consequent upon discovery/recovery of large numbers of bones and skeletal remains/wearing apparels on 04.06.11 from a place named Daserbandh, Mallickdanga under the jurisdiction of Garbeta PS, the referred case was started at Anandapur PS on 06.06.11 based on the written complaint of Shyamal Acharya s/o Late Ajoy Acharya of vill. Raniorh PO:  Sirshi PS Anandapur alleging that his father and some other persons were killed on 22.09.2002 out of Political grudge. A criminal conspiracy hatched up by the leaders and followers of CPI (M) party who killed them as named in the FIR and buried at the said place to conceal evidence. In connection with such recovery of skeletons/skulls and wearing apparel from the aforesaid place, Garbeta PS UD case no. 37/11 dated 04.06.11 was started on the information of one Paban Kumar Shaw s/o Late Bholanath Shaw of village Birsinghapur, PS- Garbeta, Paschim Medinipur. Sri Susanta Ghosh s/o Gandhi @ Chitta Ranjan Ghosh of Benachapra, PS Garbeta, District – Paschim Medinipur , Ex- Minister, Govt. of West Bengal, was arrested on 11/08/2011 in the abovenoted case.         Another accused person Biman Ghosh s/o Niranjan Ghosh of Piasala , PS Anandapur, Paschim Medinipur  was arrested on 15/08/2011 in the same case.

108. Bally PS Case No. 205/11 dt. 06/05/11 u/s 302 / 34 / 120B IPC & 25 / 27 / 35 Arms Act . Sasthi Gayen s/o Lt Gopal Ch. Gayen of Thakurani Chak Samabaypally ,PS Bally , Howrah and Asit Gayen s/o Lt Gopal Ch. Gayen of Thakurani Chak Samabaypally ,PS Bally , Howrah were arrested in c/w Bally PS Case No. 205/11 dt. 06/05/11 u/s 302 / 34 / 120B IPC & 25 / 27 / 35 Arms Act  by the officers of Homicide Squad on 23/08/2011.

109. Tarakeshwar  PS Case No 127 dated 10/07/2011 u/s 420 / 406 IPC

One HImadri Chakraborty  s/o Ashok CHakraborty of Baidyapur, PS- Tarakeswar, Hooghly was arrested on  20/08/2011 and one Niladri Chakraborty s/o Ashok Chakraborty of do was arrested on 25/08/2011 at Gandhi Colony, Narkeldanga on 25/08/2011  by the officers of EOW Section in c/w Tarakeshwar  PS Case No 127 dated 10/07/2011 u/s 420 / 406 IPC

 Satadal Goswami s/o Basudev Goswami of  Pandua Station Road, PS Pandua, Hooghly was arrested by the CID officers on 19/08/2011 in c/w Serampore  PS Case No 97/10 dated 06/04/10 u/s 66A/ 66B / 67 I.T. Act

On 23/06/2011 one girl  of Buincha Durlavpara PS- Santipur, (Near Fulia Out Post) Dist- Nadia was reportedly missing from her house. Accordingly MPB, CID, File No 57-2011/2/F(10) dated 25/07/2011 was opened followed by Santipur PS missing Diary No 1769 dated 23/07/2011. Oon the basis of message under National Circulate Originated by O/C MPB, CID, Circle Officer of Meerut City recovered the girl from a brothel of Brahampuri Meerut. SI Rudrajit Guha along with a team from CID, West Bengal, mother of VG  went to Meerut. Lastly VG  who was in safe custody in c/w Brahampuri A.H.T.U. case no 4/11 dated 19/07/2011 u/s 3/4/5/6/7 ITP Act. was taken or bond for transmit to West Bengal.The VG  has been brought to WB and handed over to her mother after filling up “R” form of MCTP.      

111. On 26/07/2011 one  girl D/o Naren Banerjee  was reported to be missing from 31/C, N.C. Chowdhury Road, Kol-42, PS- Kasba. Accordingly MPB File No 57-2011/1/F/(71) dated 01/08/2011 was opened flowed by Kasba PS GDE No 1817 Dated 26/07/2011.       All informative actions, i.e. broadcasting through AIR, telecasting through Television and publication of the photograph in leading Newspaper through Director Information and Cultural Affairs was done.     On 06/08/2011, one unknown person informed that the was seen at Jaynagar PS. area. Accordingly with the help of Local PS the Missing girl was recovered from Joynagar South 24 parganas.

112. On 25/07/2011 one  lady W/o Swapn Ghosh of Danguajhar, Tea Garden Staff Qtr., PS Kotowali, Dist- Jalpaigury left her house after a hot altercation with her husband. Accordingly MPB, File No 57-2011/13/F(2) dated 11/08/2011 was opened followed by Kotowali PS GDE NO 704 dated 26/07/2011.      All informative actions i.e. telecasting through television, broadcasting through AIR, Publication in leading newspaper through the Director Information and Cultural Affairs was done. Leaflet was also distributed in the leading Railway Stations in the North Eastern and Eastern Railway division.    On 17/08/2011, one tea stall owner from Katwa Railway Station informed over telephone that the missing lady was residing in Ananda Niketan, one NGO maintained Home, near Katwa Mental Health Care. Atlast on 19/08/2011, Bapi Ghosh, brother of the missing person went to the Home and traced the missing lady.

113. On 05.09.2011 at afternoon based on source information raid was conducted at Mahisbathan in the house and godown of one Joydeb Mondol under P.S.Karimpur by the Officers and force of SOG .CID.W.B. under the leadership of Ins- A.Bose and arrested the accused namely 1) Joydeb Mondol s/o-Jagabandhu Mondol of Mahisbathan,PS- Karimpur and seized  Total 2700 no.of bottle of 100ml. (company sealed) Phensedyl Cough lintus. The accused person failed to produce any valid license or any documents in support storing and trading .The said Drug which might be spurious and seal standard quality. On suomoto complaint Karimpur P.S.Case No.-103/11 Dt.-06.09.2011 U/S-27 (a)(b) Drugs and Cosmatic Act.1940  and DDI Nadia is investigating the case.   

114. On 29/09/11 POWC, CID, staff  arrested one FIR named accused namely  Nemai Sardar (33) S/O Shri Sital Sardar of Vill Darikjangal, PS Sandeshkhali, North 24 Prgs now settled at  Joybihar House No. RZA 413 PS Najafgarh, New Delhi from Najafgarh, New Delhi in c/w Sandeshkhali PS Case No. 151 dated 18/06/2010 u/s 363/363A/368/370/34 IPC and recovered following Victim girls from Joybihar House No. RZA 413 PS Najafgarh, New Delhi from possession of above arrested accused person.

11116.   A raid was conducted over a secret information by the officers and men of DRBT Cell & Homicide Cell at Paikpara more on Paikpara-Sutia Road, under Bongaon PS jurisdiction on 25.10.11. afternoon in between 15:30 Hrs and 17:20Hrs and a veteran criminal viz. Goffor Mondol(35yrs) S/O Lt Jehar Ali Mondol, of vill: Bhasanpota, Anchal Ghatbaur, PO: Ghatbaur, PS: Bongaon, Dist: 24 Paraganas (North) who was dealing in illegal arms and ammunitions was nabbed. From his possession five country made pipeguns, two rounds of 8mm KF live cartridges, were recovered and seized from his possession. On close interrogation the accused person disclosed that he had been dealing in illegal arms and ammunitions since long. He told that he procures the illegal arms and ammunitions from outside and sells those to local rowdies for unlawful gain. Over this a suo motu complaint was submitted against the above noted arrestee and the instant case was registered. The accused persons was forwarded in the Court of Ld. ACJM, Bongaon on 26.10.11. The investigation of the case has been taken up by SI Anupam Chakraborty of SOG CID WB, as ordered. This refers to Bongaon PS Case No 627 dated 25/10/11 u/s 25(1)(A) Arms Act.

117.That on the night of 24/9/11 two trucks were robbed from Contai, Satmail, place under this ps. That in course of investigation Dinesh Jana and one Md Arshad were arrested and taken in to 8 days Police remand on 9/10/11. It was also surfaced that the gang was    made    by    one    All of Garchakraberia, Nandigram. He formed a team along with one Nripen @ Manoj Roy, Subrata Bera of Nandakumar and Giyasuddin of Contai. The team might have member namely Kamal and Mejo of Purbo Midnapur. They were deputed in this job by one Avinash Singh @ Ajit Sing of Sudpur Coliyary, Asansole. This team also having some connections in   24   pgs   north, because after commission of crime both the vehicles were taken to Barast, Madhyamgram area via Dunlop.  In the very initial stage of investigation it appears  more than one inter state gang are woking behind the crime of truck lifting. Ali Hossain and main man and Jahangir already arrested. Manoj and two others were in PC and they were identified in pip. Apart from th at Arshad Sk, Dinesh Jana were also arrested from receiver’s enc. This refers to Contai PS Case No 229 dated 24/09/11 u/s 395 IPC.

118. On 18/11/2011 evening, acting on a source information, DDI Howrah & Hooghly DD,CID, West Bengal held a raid inside the Factory prmises barrack of M/S N S Co. Limited at Belur Station Road, PS- Bally, Howrah and arrested two persons namely i) Monirul Sk (30 years) and ii) Sk Siraj and seized five numbers of .303 ammunitions of SBBL Gun from their possession. This refers to Bally PS Case No. 1043 Dated 18/11/2011 u/s 25(i)(a)/27/35 Arms Act.    

119.Baishnabnagar PS Case No. 318/11 dated 30/11/11 u/s 489(B)/489(C) IPC was recorded on the written complaint of No. 05001083 Inspr (G) Ashish Kumar, D.C. (G) team SHQ, BSF Malda to the effect that, on 29.11.11 around 16.30 hours, on information of Sri S.K. Gupta, D.C. (G) Team SSSGQ, BSF Malda which was developed with I.F.F.C. unit N.I.A., New Delhi, a joint operation party of CID Malda consisting of SI. Soibal Kumar Bagchi and SI Md. Ilias and force, BSF of SHQ, Malda held raid (as per given information by SOG,CID,West Bengal) at PTS more under Baishnabnagar PS jurisdiction, apprehended one Bablu Mia (32) s/o Khariatulla of Lalattola, PS. Kaliachak, dist. Malda and recovered and seized FICN amounting to Rs. 3,90,000/- (Denomination- 295 numbers of Thousand Rupee Note and 190 numbers of Five Hundred Rupee Note) from his possession as such there was a reason to believe that the accused Bablu Mia was possessing Fake Indian currency note with a view to circulate this to the common people as genuine one.

120. One Sumpi Ghosh (17 Yrs.) D/o Ashit Ghosh of Radhanagar, PS – Taherpur, Dist – Nadia left her house after a hot altercation with her sister on 02-11-2011. Missing File No. 57-2011/02/F (16) dt. 03-11-2011 was opened at MPB, CID followed by Taherpur PS GDE No. 61 dt. 02-11-11. Later on, after enquiry it was ascertained that the missing girl was recovered from Thakurpukur PS area. This is a good work done on the part of MPB, CID.

121. Receiving a letter from Shri J.Prosad, DIG (G), BSF regarding missing of a Bangladeshi girl, officer of MPB, West Bengal sent a fax message to the Antihuman Trafficking Cell, CID, Andhrapradesh, regarding the girl. The Andhrapradesh Police registered a case on 20-09-2011 vide Cr. No. 58/2011 U/s 3,4,5 and 6 of Immoral Traffic (Prevention) Act. and Sec 344, 365, 368 R/w 34 IPC . The said Bangladeshi girl  along with another girl of Tiljala PS area were recovered. She  kept under care of NGO namely “Prajwala, Hyderabad” and the another girl of Tiljala area was given in the custody of her parents. Officer of the MPB, CID informed the parents of the recovered Bangladeshi VG through Shri J. Prasad, DIG (G) BSF.

122. On 31-07-11 one girl  left her house from Cuttack for Kolkata. After reaching Howrah Station she suddenly disappeared from Howrah Railway Station on 01-08-2011. Accordingly her father lodged a missing file vide MPB CID Missing File No. 57-2011/19/F (1) dt. 19-08-2011. MPB CID took all informative actions. From secret information  her location was traced  at South City Mall and she was handed over to her father at MPB, CID on 04-11-11.

123. Joynagore PS Case No. 371 dated 11/06/2010 u/s 363/366A/372/34 IPC.    Officers of AHTU Cell, CID, West Bengal rescued one victim girl of Joynagar area under  Dist. South 24 Prgs.  in c/w above noted case on 15/11/2011.  Said VG was recovered  from Mahishadal PS Area and the Victim girl was produced before CWC, South 24 Parganas, Narendrapur on 16/11/2011 and arrested the accused person Bhola Sardar (17 Yrs.) S/O Srimanta Sardar of Batra PS Joynagar, Dist. South 24 Prgs on 15/11/2011 and the accused person was also produced before Ld. J.J. Court, Kolkata on 16/11/2011.

124. Raidighi PS Case No. 16/11 dated 31/01/2011 u/s 363/366A/34 IPC. Officers of AHTU Cell, CID,West Bengal arrested the trafficker namely Gouri Tamang (52 yrs.) D/O Sri Mayla Sanu Tamang of 994, Budhuarpet, New Building, PS Farashkhana, Pune Maharatra from the above noted place on 28/11/2011.

125. Canning PS Case No. 81/11 dt. 23/02/2011 u/s 363/366A IPC  Officers of AHTU,CID, West Bengal arrested one trafficker, namely  Puja Lalabahadur Sharma D/O Lalbahadur Sharma of Disco Building, 4^th Floor, House No. 990/91, PS Faraskhana, Pune, Maharashtra on 02/12/2011 . She was shown arrested from Ld. J.M. Metropolitan Court, 2 No. Court, Shibaji Nagar, Pune, Maharashtra.

126. Contai PS Case No. 172/10 dt. 23/08/2010 u/s 363/366/120B IPC  A team of CID WB under the leadership of Inspr. Smt. Sarbari Bhattacharjee hold a raid and rescue operation in c/w above mentioned case. They rescued the victim girl of Contai area, District- Purba Midnapur on 15/12/2011 from Sathmai, PS Contai, Dist. Purba Medinpur as well as arrested the accused person namely Pranabesh Dutta s/o Subhas Dutta of Kumarpur, P.S.- Contai, District- Purba Medinipur on 15/12/2011 from Sathmai, PS Contai, Dist. Purba Medinpur.

127. Nandigram PS Case No. 282 /07 Dated 19/11/2007 u/s 147/148/364/367/368/302/201/120B IPC  & 25/27 Arms Act & 9B IE Act. Three (3) notorious accused persons have been arrested after long persuation. Several eye witnesses have been examined to reveal the fact. 

128.  Mograhat PS Case No. 265 Dated 14/12/2011 u/s 272/273/304 IPC. Three (3) notorious accused persons have been arrested in this case.

129.   Museum PS (Karnataka State) Case No. 844/11 u/s 380/461/457/411/34 IPC Three (3) accused persons including one receiver of the case have been arrested from Sonarpur PS and Kolkata area in association with Karnataka State Police on 20/12/2011.

130. Officers of  Cheating & Fraud Section,CID,West Bengal  arrested 1) Ositadinma Maxwell Peter @ David Zabrano (37yrs) s/o Maxwell Peter of # / Agor Palace Way, Okoto, lagos, Nigeria At present 16/3 Indra Vikash Colony, 3^rd floor, P.S. – Mukherjee nagar, New Delhi, 2) Emmanuel Ebuka Chokwojekwo @ Mike Anthony (31 years) , s/o Ebuka of Umuabani, Neni, Anaocha, Nigeria , Personal # AN186148855, at present house of  Smt. Gurcharan Kaur, w/o Late Jaspal Singh, C-30 Hardev Nagar, PS- Burari, New Delhi from Saket Police Station Area, New Delhi on 24/12/2011 in c/w Barasat PS Case No. 1484 Dated 03.08.2011 u/s 420/406/468/471 IPC. They sent SMS to the Complainant intimating him winning of prize money of US $ 850000 and collected Rs. 60,00,000/- through different Bank Accounts as expenses towards customs clearance, Airport Clearance, RBI Clearance etc. Thus they cheated complainant Rs.60,00,000/-.

all of District South 24 Parganas.

133. Gazole PS Case No. 371 Dated 16.12.2010 u/s 489B/489 C IPC             Ld. Additional District Session Judge, 1^st Court, Malda convicted both the accused persons namely i) Minarul Haque and ii) Jasimuddin u/s 489C IPC & 489B/511 IPC. They are sentenced to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for 5 years each and to pay fine Rs.10000/- each for the offence punishable u/s 489B IPC. They will suffer further RI for 6 months each without paying of fine. They are also sentenced to suffer Rigorous Imprisonment for 3 years each and to pay fine Rs.5000/- for the offence punishable u/s 489C IPC. They will suffer further RI for 3 months each without paying of fine. Both the sentence will be done concurrently.
